our history in broadcast

Before starting Monastery Pictures I had a long history in media and animation. It bagean with my admiration for animation and VFX which lead to me gaining a degree in the field. Longing for more opportunities to create visual narratives I soon turned towards the entertainment industry and began my career in broadcast television.

I joined the Gogglebox team during season 19 of the show. Already a well established part of English television it meant that there was a lot I could learn. This show enabled me to hone in on my craft learning camera techniques from camera ops who had been in the industry for decades. I learned skills from sound engineers who had worked across multiple industries. But even more valuable than that, I learned what makes a strong, entertaining and long lasting TV series from renown executive producers.

I have utilised the skills I learned in television and now bring this knowledge and experience to Monastery Pictures where I can use it to help brands grow and create captivating content.
